The Hybrid hammered and beaded snare is as beautiful sonically as it is aesthetically. Dual beads have been added to give this rolled steel snare solid rigidity while maintaining the sonic qualities of a thin metal shell. We then hammered the center ring to reduce unwanted overtones. Reverse flange hoops have been added to ensure that this drum will not choke out regardless of the velocity at which it is played.

 

The snares are also equipped with the Crush “Hybrid” snare wires consisting of Carbon steel and Brass for superior sizzle and an alligator strength bite. The result is a deep tone with plenty of brilliance at the high end and a much dryer sound than what is standard with traditional steel snares. We finished the shell off with a nickel and brass plating for a stunning visual effect. Available in two sizes 13"x7" and 14"x7".
