Erasmo “Wasmo” Huerta – Independent

Erasmo starts his musical career as a singer in the children salsa band Salserin, in which he recorded the hit single “El Bebé Salsero” when he was only 5 years old; since then, he hasn’t stopped making music. Interacting and working with many bands from his country Venezuela, he joins CAIBO, where he began his drumming career, and with whom he toured from 2007 until 2010, year in which he recorded the very successful record “Poesía Criolla” and also started making a name for himself in Miami working with artist such as Beatriz Luengo and The Queen of Kings among others.

In 2011, he returns to Venezuela as Musical Director and Drummer for OSCARCITO. During this time he accomplishes not only directing the band but also participating in the production of the 2011, ‘12 and ’13 national tours, from which we can name major events as the FESTIVAL DE LA ORQUIDES (twice), nationawide concerts, and the grand production of the “OSCARCITO MUNDO TOUR 2014”.

In 2013 he begins to work with the Latin Grammy- winning Venezuelan rock band LA VIDE BOHEME, in which he plays percussion, guitar and chorus, while at the same time working on his personal project and producing 3 singles alongside Yne Sarcos (Venezuela, Di que no and Quiero). 2014 welcomed him by travelling to Paraguay to play with Jorge Villamizar .
